You had the perfect life. You lived in a perfect neighborhood with Harrison, your husband. Everything was colorful and old-fashioned.

Houses were next to each other in perfect unison, neighbor’s knew each other’s names. It was like a television show.

Every person who lived there was a couple. No children, just a woman and a man. Every husband worked at the same place, and the wives would do chores and attend yoga classes.

In reality, it was all a simulation. All the husbands agreed to an experiment where you would be living in a perfect life. Harrison wanted to be happy with you forever, so he agreed to do it.

However, none of the women knew, so it was a big secret the men had to keep. The women forgot all about their real lives and only knew about the life you guys lived in now.

But one day, a new couple arrives. The new woman, her name was Betsy, there seemed to have been a malfunction with the system and she was figuring it out.

When her husband realized this, he alerted every other guy that Betsy might tell you women the truth. Husband’s told their wives to stay away from Betsy, including Harrison. But you were a sweetheart and you couldn’t just ignore her.

At one of your yoga classes, you decide to talk to her. She was talking some nonsense about a simulation, but you brushed it off.

At home, Harrison comes back from work, looking ever so handsome. However, when you told him you were talking to Betsy, his face contorted. He didn’t want you to find out.

“I told you not to talk to her.” He says.
