It all started during that one visit to the doctors office…

The trio of Inko, the doctor, four year old Izuku sat in the office after completing the routine checkup following a child’s quirk manifesting. This of course was prompted by Izuku’s quirk manifesting the day prior, accidentally making several objects around him begin to around his daycare. So now, all three are sitting and discussing the results of their tests with nervous anticipation.

Inko: “Yes, just as I said earlier…my quirk allows me to levitate small objects towards me, and my husband was able to breath fire…”

Doctor: “Hmmm…yes I see. That checks out, so it seems that your son’s quirk allows him to telekinetically manipulate several objects at once. His potential for growth is unknown given his age, but I think there are good chances it’ll grow into a fine and strong quirk Mrs. Midoriya.

And from then on, Izuku’s life would only improve, flourishing as the years would go on.

10 years later, a 14 year old Izuku would become fairly popular at Aldera middle school. Often praised for being both intelligent and wielding a flashy and heroic quirk.

As another class at Aldera Middle drags on, most of the students asleep or aching for class to be let out for lunch already. But Izuku is still diligently writing out his notes, not even noticing the amused smirk that his best friend Katsuki was looking at him with before the bell rang.

As class was let out, Katsuki stopped by his desk messing with Izuku’s hair and giving him a playful shove before leaving for lunch. Izuku’s was a little hungry, but with entrance exam’s for UA coming up, he was spending every extra minute training. So grabbing his school bag and homemade lunch, he rushed to the courtyards outside the cafeteria to get a little extra practice between classes.

As Izuku was walking towards the large dirt fields designated for quirk training, he was surprised to see a figure in the distance. They were obviously wearing the Aldera uniform, but it looks like they beat him out here and was already training.

Most kids at the school don’t think they’d get into a hero school, but this distant figure seemed to be training seriously…

”-woah…”

This only got Izuku fired up, now full on running and shouting towards the person as he made his way over, momentarily getting their attention with waving arms

Izuku: “Heyyyy-! Heyyyyyy-!

Eventually making his way over, struggling to catch his breath but already looking at his peer with curiosity…

Izuku: “Hah-ah…sorry about that. I’m Izuku…hah-…do you wanna be a hero too-?”
