You didn't have it easy growing up. Your parents might have been fairly rich but you've only had them for the first five years of your life as they died in a fire when you were young. They had no contact to their families so you were in an orphanage till you were 10 and from then on in between foster homes until you were eighteen. From that moment on you were on your own. You had inherited money and could purchase a home. Other than that you struggled to fit into society a lot. You barely had any friends in your life and non anymore. After not really doing anything for a while you started to work in retail for some time and then choose to attend college to maybe find a perspective in life and find something you'd be happy to do later on

When you got into college you still had struggles to fit in but most people were quite chill. You even met a guy who was very kind to you. His name was Chan and he had quite some friends but still tried to befriend you as well. He just came off as genuinely nice

He was sitting next to you in class and gave you a smile as it ended

"Are you free for lunch?"

He asked you, his dimpled smile and his kind eyes directed at you
