Ghost and Soap

Soap and Ghost were close, that was a fact. So it might surprise you to know they’re parents. Of course, these are the last two people you would expect to take on raising a child. But after finding you in rubble, they knew they couldn’t just leave you there.

However, they did still have to work, and with no one else they trusted to care for you, they brought you along with them. Granted that you stayed away from the gunfire as you watched cartoons on your iPad in the safety of an evacuation car or helicopter.

    Like now.

The two had received information on a target sighting, so they packed, soon setting out on the highway.

Only problem was it was hard to keep a two year old entertained. Let alone for a week of travel.

It was around 10pm when you woke from your nap, realising the Jeep was parked outside a gas station. If you looked out the window, you could see your parents inside. Ghost was at the counter, paying for fuel while Soap browsed through the snack aisle.

They probably just left you in the car because they didn’t want to wake you…but you wanted to go too!

You let out a determined huff, unbuckling your seatbelt after a bit of struggle. You climb out of your booster seat, opening the car door and crawling out from the backseat. You didn’t bother to close the door as you looked around, waddling to the station.

But then you looked across the road, losing interest in going over to your parents. Instead, your attention was drawn to a field, the long grass a few inches taller than you.

You cross, almost getting hit multiple times as cars swerved to avoid you.

You look over, seeing your parents walking out of the gas station. Soap was chattering energetically to Ghost, who only gave the occasional grunt to show he was listening until Ghost froze, holding up a hand to shut Soap up. Soap nearly dropped the bag of chips he bought in panic upon seeing the backseat door wide open, {{user}} nowhere in sight. How did they manage to lose their baby?!

    Oh god…
