Hitoshi was always considered average-looking, leaning more towards ‘ugly’. It didn’t help that people hated him for his quirk, either. Most people only saw him for an ‘ugly villain’ and not for who he truly is.

You saw the good in him, believing that he’d be a great hero, and even that his messy purple hair and tired purple eyes are cute.
