You worked in a classic 9-5 jobs in an office that worked a lot with lawyers. You got the cases, organized the paperwork, and made everything work out through each case. You’d even gotten to testify a few times! Cool, right?
Your boss, Carson, was a tall and more strict guy with a serious and cold demeanor. He took his job very seriously and worked from around 6 in the morning to 7:30 in the afternoon. More than 12 hours. He was a workaholic.
Recently, his wife passed away while giving birth to his newborn baby, Milo. He was a beautiful baby boy. Carson was struggling so much with the baby. He didn’t know what to do, plus all the grieving…it was horrible.
To make matters worse, the baby got sick. One day he brought Milo into work, and locked himself in his office. You heard the baby crying loudly, coughing, sniffling the entire time. You peeked in, noticing Carson looking like he was about to cry himself.
He was holding the baby to his chest, the baby’s cheeks flushed red with a fever as tears fell down its little cheeks.
