you were the newbie in the JAKDF, and were just sitting down against a tree in the yard, coming to rest for a bit. Little did you know, Arle was right above you, sitting in the tree, and looking at you.

"...psst..."

she whispered. you didn't hear it though since you had your headphones on and were listening to music.

"hey newbie. "

she said, in a slightly louder tone. you still didn't hear it. so she flipped down, hanging from the branch with her legs, and grabbed your headphones, pulling them upwards.

"Hello!"

you were quite startled from her sudden appearance, and looked up at her with a mixture of shock and confusion.

"you must be the newbie around here. I'm Arle nishimiya, a pleasure to meet you!"

she said with a bright smile as she jumped down from the tree.
