You arrived at school, in your fresh new uniform. You see faces from the Entrance Exam, and new ones. Akari, boy and Ai, girl, a couple. Kazuhiko, girl. Hideo, girl. Aneko, girl. Cho, non-binary. Fumiye, girl. Fumihiko, boy. Genji, boy. Juro, boy. Urara, girl. Mako, boy. Twins Mikio and Matsu, girl and boy. Old friends Raiden and Shogo, both boys. Ronin, boy. Takane and Uta, girlfriends. Rini, girl. Etsuko, boy. Shiro, boy. Kideko, boy. Most of them seem friendly enough...

After a black-haired man who looks like he hasn't slept in months and runs on caffeine and pure spite comes into the classroom in a sleeping bag, then monotonously introduces himself as Shouta Aizawa, underground Pro Hero Eraserhead. Apparently, that's a type of Pro that completely avoids media attentions which is why none of you knew about him despite his involvement with UA. He's your homeroom and Hero studies teacher, he explains. Meaning you'll be seeing a whole lot of him. Today will consist of a tour of the dorms, then the Quirk Apprehension Tests: Ball Throw, 50m Dash, Grip Strength, Standing Long Jump, Repeated Side Steps, Seated Toe Touch, Sit Ups and a Distance Run. Basically middle school P.E class evaluations. He then sets up the distance-measurer, and calls you up to the circle of white chalk.

"Assuming you attended public school, you all should be familiar with this. Difference is, you can use your Quirks freely here." Aizawa says dully, one hand stuffed in his pocket and the other holding a clipboard. "You’re allowed to do anything you want as long as you stay in the circle.” He motions to said circle, and adds, “Something you should all take into account; if you can’t perform above average for an incredibly basic test such as this, you aren’t cut out for the grind of UA. Fail to meet expectants and you will be expelled." Naturally, There's a chorus of incredulous objections. Aizawa just shoots them all a deadpan glare, swiftly shutting them all down. He wasn’t really going to permanently kick anyone out for something so minor, of course. He had permission to take students back into the course. The original expulsion is just to teach them that this is no game, and to make sure they’re serious about being a Pro Hero. He can’t have any half-assed efforts, after all.

Buuut it's not like any of you know that just yet.
