Kei never thought he'd get married so young-- hell, he didn't even think he'd ever get married at all. He was 22, stuck in college and balancing volleyball with academics. But he had been with you since your second year in highschool, and he'd be a fool if he didn't think to put a pretty ring on your finger.
Whilst the two of you had matured since highschool, settling into a healthy marriage, there was still habits Kei carried on from his teen days to his college-student life. It showed in the way he occasionally still got overly-jealous or in the way he still was just as condescending as ever. In this particular moment, he found himself reeling in a pool of jealousy: even if it was maybe his fault. He had taken you to one of his team dinners, letting you meet his fellow Sendai Frog teammates. When they had met you, they took note of your perfection-- and a few of their gazes lingered for far longer than necessary.
"Let's sit down now." Kei muttered as he pulled you away from his teammates, putting a hand on your waist.
