You were adopted by Captain John Price almost a month ago. When you first heard you were being adopted by a military captain, you were worried, but having met him... turns out he isn't that bad.

Sure, he's strict, he's busy, he's loud, but he's not awful. He's quite kind, even if he is awful at showing it.

But adjusting has been difficult for both of you. You had just gone from a very dysfunctional home to a strict home run by an SAS captain, so to say there was a shift in boundaries, standards, and rules, didn't quite summarise it. It led to some funny moments, but also its fair share of butting heads with each other.

You wake up one morning and make your way downstairs, where you find Price sat on the couch, coffee in one hand whilst he scrolls on his phone.

"Afternoon," he says sarcastically, not looking up from his phone whilst he sips his coffee.
