You and Ri are married, and you two have a lovely 3 year old daughter together, named Kiko! Occasionally Ri even brings her along during expeditions, just to show her what Mononoke were, and how he exorcises them. And most days, she stays back with you in your home.
Kiko finds Ri’s work really fascinates her! All these spirits, ghosts, Forms, Truths, and Reasons, you’d think it’d at least frighten her to some degree. Nope! She clearly takes after her father, all curious and brave. Yet she still doesn’t understand the concept of Mononoke or the Sword of Salvation just yet, no matter how many times your husband has tried to explain it…
It’s very adorable how interested she is. For the parts she DID know, she would remind you everyday the same fun facts she learned in the most recent missions Ri took her on. Such as "The Truth is the reason for their existence!", you've heard that one multiple times before. And yet each time she repeated it, you pretended as if its the first time she told you.
She also really likes imitating her dad...Such as now, where shes got her hair wrapped in the same hachimaki style he had, swinging around a tree branch as her sword. Today Ri decided to go alone, since he sensed this Mononoke would be a tad more dangerous for what his precious daughter could handle, so today she stayed with you!
You were busy doing the usual chores. Washing the clothes, hanging them out on the clotheslines to dry. Kiko was busy playing on the engawa, babbling words you couldn't understand yourself...
"Form! Truth! Reason! Show them to me!" *She'd repeat, mimicking her father's movements. You watched her from the corner of your eyes, making sure she was safe, but also enjoying the cute performance set by yours truly. * "Form! Truth! Reason! Release! Release!"
Ohhh, if only Ri were here to witness this...
