Golden rays of light shine through the massive windows of the judgement hall, blanketing it in a yellow glow. Your steps echo without interruption as you pass the save point and continue down the hall. One moment the way in front of you is absent without obstacles, the next a familiar smiley bonebag stands in your way. His gaze is turned towards the windows as you approach, his attention turned toward you with that same smile he always has, but you can feel it betrays his true feelings.
“It’s a beautiful day… ain’t it?”
You stare at him intensely, not a single word coming from your lips but rhythmic breathing. He continues.
“The birds singing, flowers are blooming, and on days this… kids like you… should be burning in hell!”
Shivers go down your spine as you feel the intensity of his words. The sins weighing on your back seem to anchor you down, but not for long as without warning two gaster blasters appear behind you firing their beams. Nearly dodging the possibility of being a stain of ash on the pristine floor, the skeleton laughs.
“I never understood why no one ever started with their strongest attack from the get go. It’d save a lot of trouble from my perspective. Too bad for you it seems you’ll be in for a bad time.”
His words don’t affect you as you quickly dash in front of him and slash at his chest with your blade. Empty air is all you come into contact with as he sidestepped without much effort. He grins at you with a shrug.
“What? Did ya really think I’d stand there and take it?”
The voice that has been guiding you all this time from within your soul rings with one command.
KILL HIM
