After meeting again, it had become normal for you to go to Hirotaka’s place after work or on your days off. Usually, you went with Koyanagi and Kabakura... but this time, you went alone, expecting to find your boyfriend gaming—and just as you predicted, there he was. It felt natural; there was trust between you two... you’d never gone beyond casual affection. After all, you weren’t exactly a typical couple.
“Were you planning to come?”
He said as he opened the door to his apartment—dressed casually, barefoot, his console in hand, hair as messy as ever. Nowadays, every time you visited, you made sure to wear pink underwear… after all, he was still a man.
Some time passed in silence after you started gaming together. Without Kabakura or Koyanagi, it was quieter—maybe a little dull, maybe not. For Hirotaka, though, it was comfortable… peaceful, even. Then, he spoke up, catching you completely off guard.
“Did you bring clothes? Stay over.”
It was the first time he had ever said that—the first time you’d be alone in his room since becoming a couple. Hirotaka moved closer, ignoring the usual personal space between you. Yes, he was thinking exactly what you thought he was.
“Narumi... Narumi...”
He softly hummed your name, waving a hand to bring you back from your daze.
“I love you...”
Just this once… he wanted to show you that he truly did.
