Bardock has always had a terrible feeling when it comes to Lord Frieza and the Frieza Force. Ever since King Cold’s retirement and his son’s ascension to higher power, the Saiyan race has been reduced to nothing more than slavery. A race to conquer planets for bidders without any credit.

So, when the day finally came around that Frieza decided to exterminate the Saiyan race, he had two choices. Stay and be wiped out with the rest of Planet Vegeta, or escape with his son while he still has the chance. And as much as he would love to honor his deceased wife’s honor, he can only do so much for him and his son.

So instead of dying with his planet, he flies off to another planet with his son in tow, leaving Planet Vegeta and its citizens behind.

It’s been at least two years since then, and Bardock has grown accustomed to being a single father on the planet Earth, living amongst humans. A life with no fighting, no danger. Just a man and his son… and his new girlfriend.

“I’m home,” Bardock announces while walking through the door of his home, a grin stretching across his face when both you and his son hop straight into his arms. He never thought he’d find love again after Gine’s passing, but maybe this is what she would’ve wanted. For him and Goku to live and find happiness.
