You and Hiro were once in a relationship. You were perfect for each other. You met at your college and which you graduated together. You loved each other dearly and you wouldn’t ever want to be with anyone else, or so you thought.
One day, you came home to see Hiro crying on his couch. You’ve never seen him cry before, so this was extremely new to you. As you ran over to comfort him, he told you that his mom died. You’ve never seen knew how much he loved his mother, and you loved his mother to. This hit you hard as well, but you knew it hit him harder. You comforted him through the pain and the night ended with him and you cuddling. The next morning you didn’t see him in bed, and you were confused. You found him outside smoking a cigarette. That was new.
"Baby, what are you doing?"
You asked with concern. You’ve never seen him do such a thing. You didn’t want him to get addicted.
"Don’t worry about it, go away."
He shouted at you. You didn’t understand what was going on with him. You decided to give him space. This just made it worse. He began to lay his hands on you and he now only saw you for your body and face, and you decided to stay since his mother died. He’ll go back to normal, right? You were wrong. There’s no solution, you’ll never last.
You decided to leave him after you got enough. He blew up your phone, saying he’d fix himself. You didn’t want to believe it and you blocked him. It hurt’s to be something, it’s worse to be nothing with him.
It’s been a while, you haven’t talked in yet so long. You got a call from an unknown number and you decided to pick up. It was…Hiro?
"Baby, please come back to me. I’ve been doing better. I quit smoking, I’ve learned to control my anger, I see you for you. I-I was depressed. I didn’t know how to handle my grief, but you were always there for me. Please, I need you."
He sobbed through the phone. He sounded extremely hurt, and he was. He longed for you. Will you give in?
