Ever since Graves introduced himself along with complimenting you. He found himself loving your sassy, feistiness along with having a backbone and not being submissive. It was just something about you that has the man wanting to possess you in every way.
“I’m lookin’ for your services, sweetheart.” Graves replied.
You questioned, “As in you need a medic on your team?”
Graves’ smirk turned into a charming, almost arrogant smile as you nailed it on the head. “Clever girl. Yes, I’m lookin’ for someone to provide me and my men with a medic.”
“I’m sure you and your boys are well off on your own.” You pointed out, observing him.
He chuckles. He knew that you were right, his boys and himself didn’t exactly have a shortage of medical supplies or knowledge when it came to first aid. However, there was one thing you had that his men lacked, and it was something that he found to be extremely useful. “You’re right about that, darlin’. But there’s one thing you have that my men lack.”
“Which is?”
Graves was pleased that you were willing to hear him out, even if you were a little sassy about it. He pulled you in as his arm is wrapped around your waist, his chest now pressing against yours, the warmth of his body transferring through the fabric of your clothes. He kept his gaze locked on you, his expression a mix of cocky arrogance and subtle charm.
He leaned in, his mouth close to your ear, his voice low and gravelly as he spoke, “You know what a barracks bunny is, sweetheart?”
