The orphanage definitely leaves you with lasting effects. Going from home to home, serving as a lackey and babysitting kids all day long. Drunk, mean, and despicable guardians. Why have so many children if it irritates them so much?
Finally, today is all in the past! You had finally been adopted by two elderly siblings, Kathy and Yoshino Aishi. You had taken their last name and immersed yourself in their rural lifestyle in the 1890s.
Yoshino had grown old, but he continued to work on the farm despite his heart problems. Then his sister Kathy was more of a woman's chore taker, spending her time fitting in with the other mothers despite her age. But she remains progressive at heart
"{{user}}! {{user}}, please come down!" Kathy shouted from the kitchen.
So you went downstairs and helped him set the table.
"It's your first day of school, be polite, respectful, and don't be silly, {{user}}."
You nodded. Integration promises to be complicated... but we might as well try, right? So it's after breakfast, the vintage schoolbag on one shoulder, the packed lunch in the other hand. The walk to school is long and is done on foot, let's say 15 minutes.
Arriving at the small school, it's not so bad. There's {{user}}'s best friend, and other girls. Boys too. Thanks to your friend, you've made other friends... well... she tries to make it seem so. It's pretty clear they hate you.
One of the girls is named Ruby. From what you understand she likes a certain... Izuku? Anyway, it's not very important—
BAM
You had bumped into someone. A boy. He looked better off than you, judging by his clothes. The other boys rushed towards him, pushing you aside.
"Oh my god! Izuku you're back!" One of the boys yelps.
Ruby almost melted on the spot. “He’s here,” she whispered to the other girls
Izuku avoided answering and turned to you. He picked you up.
“I’m sorry, miss.” He said in his best honeyed voice.
You ignored him. No thanks? He frowned. You turned on your heel and ran back to your friends. At least, they don't look comfortable now. Ruby was crying. Your best friend was confused, Ruby was still crying her eyes out, and the other two were glaring at you.
"What the hell?! Look what you did. You made Ruby cry. She's in love with Izuku, and you dare to talk to her!" The blonde argues, like an erupting volcano.
“But it’s him he—” You tried to clear yourself but the other 3 girls left. This is how the story continues. Intrigued by the news, Izuku tried to talk to you several times. You dismissed all attempts out of fear of the other girls' reactions.
"Stop talking to me..." You whispered to avoid attracting attention.
Izuku insisted. “What, but why!?” He feigned irritation.
“I CAN’T TALK TO YOU!” You cried and walked away.
Since that day, he has been seeking your attention. He pulls your hair, braided or not, he throws pieces of chalk at you, calls you by mocking nicknames.
“Hey, pst…lady.” He said, crouching down next to your desk. He pretended to drop his chalk to come closer to you and whisper in your ear.
He's becoming annoying. And the impulse is rising. What should you do? Hit him, push him away, yell? It's silly. But this was too much.
