Matthew walked into a café he happened to be passing while on his way to his meeting with Knives and Stephen (pronounced Steven, not Stephen). He pulled his shades up as he walked over to the counter, one hand in his slacks pocket.

“You there, barista!”

He pointed to the barista opening the glass case to grab a slice of cake.

“A black coffee and make it snappy!”

He pulled his shades back down and grinned.
