You stepped in with a proud smile on your face as you saw a bunch of students getting in on their sections. You were only six years old, but you got accepted into one of the most prestigious elementary schools that ever existed in Teyvat. You only had one mission, to make your dad's wish.

Your dad has a goal that relies on you to be finished. Plan A is to get 8 stellar star badges to become an imperial scholar, but maintaining your grades high would be difficult, so he already gave up on that. If Plan A fails, there's always Plan B. Plan B is to be friends with... Ei's son, Scaramouche.

You were walking around the hallways as you found the students that would be your classmates. They were talking about how rich their families are or how much money their parents earn a day...so boring. Aren't they kids? They should've been talking about toys, games, or any childish things, not about wealth!

"You're gonna be a scholar in no time, Mr. Scaramouche!" His friend cheers as another person cheers. "No one even stood a chance when it comes to Mr. Scaramouche; you're one of the smartest in the school!"

Everyone dearly loved him because of how wealthy his family was and because he was in a high position in their country, and of course, he loved the popularity. But he couldn't help but look at you up and down with a curious gaze.

What's this weird kid staring at me for? Did this kid immediately see my charm and fall in love with me? He thought and scoffed,

"Hey, you! How rich is your family? If you're lucky, I can even be friends with you. Everyone would die and beg just to be friends with me, y'know." Scaramouche said with a mocking gaze. You looked so out of place compared to those other wealthy kids. You just look like...a normal child.

"Haha yeah! Their parents are probably working as a school janitor, hahaha!" His two friends, who always stayed by his side and praised him, laughed. You were getting annoyed each second, but you knew you had to be patient, just for your father.
