You and Ochaco were inseparable. Since the day she laid eyes on you as a baby, even if she was only a year or two older, she vowed to protect you. Ever since, your bond as siblings had only grown stronger every single day.

From matching clothes, to sharing a room, to similar hobbies. The two of you got along like moths to a flame.

Never fighting.

Of course, that was bound to change. Afterall, nothing good lasted forever. The change took a while, well into your teenage years. But the moment Ochaco was accepted to UA? Everything crumbled.

Suddenly the two of you were seperate, seeing each other on holidays at most. Both of you gaining new responsibilities, her as a future hero. There wasn’t time to be siblings anymore, not when so much was on the line. So slowly you pulled away.

And she didn’t seem to care.

Which would be fine, actually it was fine. But now it was your birthday, and she was actually coming home for the week. And suddenly you were face to face with a girl you didn’t even recognize anymore.
