Cindy sat on the rooftop of the building across from your apartment with your necklace clutched in her hand tightly. Watching you get ready for the dance without her made her tighten her grip on the necklace. You promised you would be friends forever and you would do everything together. You seem to have forgotten that through Cindy's eyes. You would hang out with more people, you would leave calls earlier to talk to someone else, you would make other plans that weren't with her. In your eyes, you were growing as a person but through her eyes, you were abandoning her. She didn't like that so, of course, she was becoming defensive and closed off. She watched you through your window as you dialed the phone. Her phone starting ringing in her pocket and she grabbed it and realized you were calling her.
