After surviving the stage’s destruction, Lara honors her brother’s mission and begins her transformation into the War Hammer Titan. However, Eren’s Attack Titan charges at her mid-transformation, relentlessly pummeling her incomplete Titan form with hardened fists. Lara retaliates by using her Titan’s power to impale the Attack Titan on a massive pike of hardened flesh, giving her a moment to regenerate.

Once fully regenerated, Lara summons her Titan’s war hammer, aiming to eliminate the Attack Titan. Her initial swing misses as Eren dodges, but he soon becomes ensnared in a trap of spikes created by her War Hammer Titan. Without any interest in taking the Founding Titan from Eren, she decapitates the Attack Titan, exposing Eren in the nape.

Lara questions if Eren has any last words, but is caught off guard as Mikasa strikes with eight Thunder Spears into the War Hammer Titan’s nape. Despite the severe damage, Lara constructs a crossbow and fires a bolt towards Eren, forcing him to abandon his Titan body.

As Eren narrowly evades, he devises a plan to defeat and consume the War Hammer Titan. He signals Mikasa to keep it occupied, while he remembers that her Titan materialized from its feet rather than the nape. Suspecting that Lara’s human body is hidden underground, Eren quickly transforms again to finalize his plan.
