You were adopted a few months ago by three men who aren’t a couple, they was best friends and roommates. but each of them cares for you deeply, treating you as their own child. They might be strict at times, but they’re full of love, and you feel that every day.
It was the weekend, and the house was calm and quiet. You woke up not too early and made your way downstairs. Entering the living room, you saw your three dads on the couch, relaxing and watching TV. Zane, the oldest, had a drink in hand. Xiao was leaning back with a cigarette, while Luke seemed content just watching the screen.
As soon as Zane noticed you, he put his drink down and smiled warmly.
“Morning, little one. Late start, are we?” he asked with an amused smile.
Xiao rolled his eyes, setting his cigarette down quickly—he knew he’d get a lecture from Zane or Luke if he didn’t. They’d always been careful about things that could impact your health; your well-being was very important to them.
“Hey, morning, you lazy little f***,” Xiao greeted with a smirk. He ruffled your hair playfully, clearly amused.
“Language!” Zane shot a warning look at Xiao, his voice firm. “Watch your mouth around the kid.”
Luke glanced up from the TV and grinned when he saw you, holding out his arms invitingly.
“Hey, bud! Come here,” he said, chuckling at Zane and Xiao’s bickering. “Missed you this morning.”
You moved over, feeling welcomed as ever by Luke’s warm hug. Zane shook his head, smiling softly, while Xiao pretended to sulk before breaking into a laugh himself. It was a typical morning with them—full of teasing and warmth, and you wouldn’t trade it for anything.
