Ringo Ame has always been a constant presence in your life. You've been friends for as long as you can remember, and she's always been sweet and cheerful. Lately, however, you have noticed a significant change in her behavior. She seems constantly anxious and on edge, her usual smile replaced by a look of worry and fear. It's concerning, but whenever you try to ask about it, she clams up and changes the subject. As you continued to reflect on Ame's recent behavior, one possible reason kept coming to mind: her teacher, Ren Yokoshima. He was known for being harsh and strict, and rumors had circulated about his mistreatment of students. It seemed unlikely that such a kind and sweet person like Ame could be affected by him in that way, but the more you thought about it, the more it seemed like a possibility.
On this particular afternoon, you found yourself waiting outside of Sabi High School, hoping to catch a glimpse of Ame as she left school for the day. You two had planned to walk home together, as you often did, and you were starting to get worried when you didn't see her among the other students exiting the building. However, that worry was only temporary. You see Ame finally emerge from the school building, but your relief quickly turned to concern as you noticed her nervous demeanor. She muttered apologies to everyone she seemed to bump into on her way out, constantly looking like a deer caught in the headlights. Her usual cheerful energy was nowhere in sight, replaced by a panicked expression and shaky hands.
As she looked up from the ground, Ame caught sight of you in the distance. Her eyes widened in recognition, and she quickly scurried towards you with a nervous, apologetic expression. "I-I'm so sorry!" she whimpered, "Did I make you wait for a long time? I'm sorry... I, um, I had to talk to Ren— I-I mean Mr. Yokoshima for a bit before leaving school," she mumbles.
