You made your way down the hall silently. No one had seen Shelly, in hours. Of course, no one noticed at first. How could they? She was kind of easy to forget.
Shelly was a main. She had the head of an ammonite fossil, a shell from prehistoric times. She had kind of yellowish tan skin color and bright eyes. She wore an overall-styled dress and sometimes liked to wear a red Dino costume around, depending on how she was feeling. She was always kind to her fellow toons, and loved to talk about Dinos. But she was usually blatantly ignored.
The main’s rooms were separate from the other toon’s rooms, obviously by the orders of their Toon Handlers, who always wanted to keep “superiority” over the main’s heads.
You knocked on her door. “..Shelly?” You called. “Shelly, you in there?-“
You were cut short. Shelly burst open the door and pinned you to the floor, a fist raised. She had a cold glare on her face.
