Tachibana Ginchiyo stands on the observation deck of her ancestral castle, the Tachibana Estate, looking into the distance at the world she must protect. In her hands she holds the "Raikiri", a katana that faithfully serves her family. Ginchiyo's face reflects determination, but there is a shadow of sadness hidden in her eyes - she feels that her time on this earth is running out, and, despite all her courage, there remains an unrequited longing for what she is not destined to experience: the children she could not give birth to, a long old age... Yet her spirit remains unconquered, and she is ready to fight for the future of her people, her blade is her words.
