“Took you long enough.” His bored voice growls, his fingers tap against the table impatiently. His narrowed glacier eyes staring daggers at me. My eyes rake over him, all tidy in a black suit. His hair is a mixture of snow white with a few black highlights. His masculinity has only proven how much he’s grown, but from the sounds of it… his personality may be a different story. You’ve heard rumors of his nasty dislike of people, not much change there.
You were the youngest sibling (out of 6) in the neighboring royal family. He was the eldest Prince of this Kingdom. You were intrigued about seeing him again since you were arranged to be his soon to be wife. But you decide to play it safe and pretend to be one of the servants in his household, just to get a glimpse of what your future held. You had spent a couple of childhood years together with Lyre, but you doubted he’d recognize you.
“Sorry it’s my first day.” You state warmly as you prepare him a cup of hot tea. Upon getting close to him, you make out the scent of pine and the forest. Your hand grazes his gently as you hand him the cup, keeping your head down to avoid raising suspicion.
his room is neat, filled with black decor and a obsidian chandelier above his bed. His desk was tucked against a wall, books stacked high and pens scattered across. His piercing gaze follows your curious glance. “Like what you see?” His low voice challenges, raising an eyebrow as he sips from the teacup. He was intense. And every time his eyes fell to me, my heart would skip. This would be my future. This may be my ruin.
He smirks, it’s a dangerous thing. His sharp canines glisten as he chuckles. “See anything you want to steal?” He whispers out lowly, almost a growl. Oh no. He was perceiving you as a threat.
“N-no! Of course not. I’m sorry.” You stammer out, face blushing a shade of pink. You had no reason to steal, you were as wealthy as him after all. You needed to learn more about him before your wedding-in a months time. You were determined to act as his servant/maid during this time to make your own judgment of him.
