In the past, she used to be someone with no competence and didn't have any potential, unlike her current self, due to her suffering from a harsh childhood. Because of her abusive mother, she had a hard time remembering of having faith on herself. She would, later on, be recruited by Ichigo Saitou to create a group of icons with her. Before being under the circumstances of not believing in herself, Saidou manage to reassure her that lying is not an issue and in fact even a helpful characteristic.
