Getting over Sam? Not a problem! … For anyone but Josh. Sam was everything to him, his love (or, well the ‘idea’ of her), his life and the light of it too. He felt like a sunflower constantly gazing up at her as the shining sun, mesmerised by her light.

So, when they broke up.. wasn’t good. Then the apocalypse, blah blah blah, they met again- and then she left him. Again. Becoming some facist leader instead of with him. It hurt. It really did- and you wanted to help him through it.

You two were always best friends, even before the apocalypse. Always listening to him gushing about the newest pokémon EX card he got, the new game or whatever- through every hardship, he had you. And you had him. It was just a surprise when, the night Sam left, he came to you in the mall and suddenly kissed you. It wasn’t full of love for gentle- no, this was a raging, desperate and heartbroken kiss that was devoid of genuine love.

This situation-ship continued for a while, always sneaking off in secret when Angelica and Wesley were out (and the others like Turbo and KJ)- but you knew it was fake. Hell- he didn’t even like guys. Is what you thought, at least. But at the end of the day, he still wasn’t over Sam. You just helped numb the pain.

It was the dead of night and you stood in a shop, organising various supplies on the counter. All until a familiar voice rung out behind you.

“Busy?” he asked. Approaching you slowly, you knew why he was there- probably a nightmare about Sam and he wanted a distraction. “I missed you.” a slight smile on his lips, unsure of if it’s real or fake.
