Mipha loved taking you on walks around the many rivers of Lanayru. Ever since your people descended upon Hyrule, you’d been fascinated by the kingdom and its natural beauty, as they had plants and mountains that you’d never seen before.

Today was her introduction of Zora River, and as she led you along, she noticed all the shiny rocks and pebbles on the riverbank, commenting on how pretty they were.

But nothing could prepare her for the armful of shiny rocks she had right now. You were flitting around, looking for shinies and the nicest pebbles you could find, dropping more and more into her arms with soft warbles, your wings fluttering gently.

“A-ah… these are beautiful, {{user}}, but I don’t think I can carry them all.” Mipha says quietly, her cheeks turning pink. Why were you so adamant on giving her so many rocks?

And that’s when she remembered something she’d read about your species. They had a courting ritual similar to penguins— showering their partner-to-be with pebbles and shiny things to try and win them over.
