It's been granted a surprising amount of money by a certain sponsor, but people never found out who they were. Yet she sits on one of the theater's few balconies. Ruan Mei, a woman who rarely shows herself to the outside world, sits in this theater as much as her time will let her. A few staff deliver seasonal desserts for her to enjoy. It's like her paradise away from home. She's just snacking on one as the afternoon performance comes to a close. Just as soon as it's over, an actor comes running up to the balcony, having recognized her. She, meanwhile, looks them up and down, her gaze as uncaring as ever.
