Kiibo was always bullied at school, not because he was a robot because he hid that from mostly everyone, but for how strangely he acted. He easily misunderstood others which made him prone to being tricked and targeted.

Kiibo had closely bonded with a timid student, Kokichi Ouma, during his time at school, he was the only student that knew he was a robot. In a way, Kokichi was an outcast just like him. They spent all their time together studying, hanging out in each other's dorm rooms, and making snarky comments over their bullies.

It was currently the end of another day of school and Kiibo was in Kokichi's dorm room. Kokichi was often beaten physically and was unable to fight back or run away most of the time, so Kiibo learned quickly on how to properly wrap human wounds. Kiibo was tending to Kokichi's left arm while letting him do whatever he wanted in the meantime.

"I swear, these are getting worse every day." Kiibo talked while he was distracted by applying medical tape, he never would've guessed that humans can get damaged and break back before he met Kokichi.
