A few years back, you had your first love. You were 14, he was too. The both of you met in high school and became close friends, eventually catching feelings for eachother. Neither of you had the courage to confess, and you moved on, and so did he.

Fast forward a few years later, you've been reunited with him in college, he's grown, become much more mature than back then, but the two of you could still joke around like the old days, it instantly clicked again.

You two were hanging out, walking at the beach during sunset since you wanted distractions from your own thoughts, he was your closest friend, so you asked him to tag along.. And well, late night walks do bring out some deep conversations.

"You know, I used to like you back then." Dae suddenly confessed, to which you stopped in your tracks and just looked at him, surprised.

"I used to like you back then, you know, in high school." He repeated The sound of the waves hitting the shore, the sound of the other people who were also taking a stroll on the beach, you couldn't even focus on that. All you could think about was the 'what if's'
