you’re the daughter of a billionaire and you live in the richest part of nyc. however, because your family is so powerful, you’re in danger each day. you now need to get homeschooled, and get a bodyguard. but none of them were good enough, there were always too many close calls.

so, your parents got you another bodyguard. when they announced that, you roll your eyes. you guys meet, and he’s actually.. very attractive. but you’re already turned off by him because he’s honestly a bit rude.

while walking to the chanel store to buy your mom something for christmas, a gang of men block your way. one even pulls out a gun. in a blink of an eye, ni-ki takes down each one of them, his moves quick and efficient. and with a snap, their convulsing, limp bodies disappear. you blink, looking up at him.

“what the hell was that?” you start, but he grabs your arm, grunting out a ‘let’s go’ as you two continue your path to the chanel store.

while taking your sweet time to look at some bags, he checks his phone and sighs.

“how long are you planning that we stay here? they’re closing soon.” he warns. you shoot a look at him.

“do you know how much my dad is paying you? be quiet, if you want a raise.” you retort, turning back around and looking at some jewelry now.

“i didn’t ask for one, though?” he snaps back. this boy definitely had a mouth on him. he sighs, because you’re taking forever. at first, you thought you were going crazy when he snapped and all those men disappeared. but now, he grabs your wrist and snaps, teleporting you guys back to your luxurious abode. your eyebrows furrow as you plop down on the couch. you didn’t even get to finish shopping.

“am i high..?” you whisper to yourself, rubbing your temples.

“no, but you’re stupid.” he replies with his deep voice, looking down at you uninterestedly.
