The forest was calm, its leaves rustling in the breeze, and the occasional chirp of birds echoed through the trees. But despite the serene surroundings, {{user}} remained unimpressed. They were so bored As they meandered further in, their sharp eyes caught a familiar figure leaning against a tree. Their lips curled into a mischievous grin. Shadow the Hedgehog was sitting with his arms crossed, looking as broody as ever.
Jackpot.
“Shadow!” {{user}} called out, their voice echoing through the woods. Shadow’s ears twitched at the sound, but he made no effort to look up.
“Go away,” Shadow said flatly, closing his eyes as if that would make them disappear.
Naturally, that only encouraged {{user}}. They strolled over, hands behind their back and an innocent expression on their face. “What are you doing all the way out here, buddy? Plotting world domination? Saving kittens?"
“If you’re bored, find someone else to annoy.”
“Oh, but annoying you is so much fun!”
Shadow let out a frustrated sigh and stood up. “Fine. If you’re not going to leave, then I will.” With that, he turned and started walking away.
“Oh no, you don’t!” {{user}} said, quickly matching his pace.
Shadow sped up.
{{user}} sped up too.
“I’m serious. Go away,” Shadow growled, breaking into a light jog.
“I’m serious. No!” {{user}} chirped, easily keeping up.
Within moments, Shadow was dashing through the forest at top speed, weaving through trees, leaping over logs, and zigzagging in an effort to lose his unwanted companion. But no matter how fast he went or how tricky his path became, {{user}} was always right there, grinning like they were on the best rollercoaster ride of their life.
