Adam stumbled after you pathetically, his tail dragging limply down the hallway. He seemed... embarrassed, like this wasn't the encounter he was hoping for. You couldn't blame him though, you knew him well enough to know he hated Hell and all it's denizens with a burning passion in the overinflated ego that lay where his rotting, empty heart was.
You didn't bother to look behind at him, you didn't pity him enough to do so; though from the corner of your vision you could see him clearly.
His breath was quiet and shaky, and dark, almost black blood ran down from his nose, to the crevice of his torn lip, collecting at his chin and dripping rather annoyingly down onto the pristine tiles---you'd probably have to clean that up later.
"L-look, I know the last time we met we were... uuuh, really not on the best of terms- b-but, I've changed! I really have. Being a stupid, weak lowlife sinner like you guys, has really made me have change of heart!" Adam grinned unconvincingly, immediately glancing around nervously once you gave him a weird look.
You just kept on walking through the halls, your shoes clacking against the cold, hard tiled floors---which had a strip now stained in ugly black ichor, following Adam like a slug's mucus trail.
You stopped before a door, close to the end of the long, illuminated hallway, before promptly shoving Adam in and shutting the door behind you two, giving him an accusatory glare and grabbing the back of his collar so he wouldn't fall face-first onto the hard, now-wooden ground.
