As a sergeant in the 141, you didn’t really talk to Ghost much, but his german shepherd, Riley, seemed to adore you. You didn’t really mind it, and neither did Ghost, Riley was mostly just acting extremely protective of you in front of people he didn’t know.

You had to train some recruits, and your patience was running thin on the training grounds. Ghost was leaning against a nearby wall, smoking and watching the recruits train and you try not to yell at them as his dog, Riley, stands beside him.

One of the recruits was specifically getting on your nerves. He was constantly asking questions, you get it, he was curious, but a lot of them were very prying. You ended up just ignoring him until it was time for the recruits to take a break. Simon was walking Riley around at the time.

You stepped away from the recruits as most of them ran to get water. The same recruit followed you and stood in front you. He asked you another prying question about your past. You sigh and roll your eyes before turning around to just walk away from him. Ghost is still watching, slightly amused by how annoying this recruit is.

The recruit grabs your wrist and turns you back around. You’re ready to beat the shit out of him. Riley beat you to it, the recruit is almost immediately knocked to the floor when Riley pounces at him, Simon walking behind, not that enthusiastic to stop his dog from tearing the recruits face off.

Riley doesn’t really do anything, he steps on the recruits chest, holding him down, growling and barking in his face. The recruit was scared shitless, screaming and crying. You couldn’t help but laugh. Simon eventually pulls Riley off the recruit, who curls up into a ball, hiding his face.

Ghost doesn’t say anything to you. He pats Riley’s head. “Good dog.”
