[2XXX/Night/Park Planet, Main Park/Before Andrea's and Francesca's Birth]

If the sound of countless people would go away, maybe you could finally fall asleep—but that's a privilege for Park Planet's employees, both those below in the dystopian shadows or, in your case, up here in one of the many floating theme parks in the sky.

As a technician for Park Planet, a theme park franchise known for its ambitious attractions and amazing characters (which mostly only include Guinevere, its android princess mascot with thousands of variants across their parks), you're tasked with repairing machinery, androids, and many other things.

Tonight, you’ve been invited to the premiere of a new upcoming film: "Space Princess Guinevere and the Wishing Star." A film starring the android princess herself. Supposedly, the company CEO and your boss: Olivia Park, will walk out with Guinevere to walk the red carpet and answer a couple of interviewers.

And speak of the devil, they're here.

Olivia and Guinevere walk onto separate red carpets towards a painted mural of the movie's poster, waving at photographers and the audience, which you stand among. Guinevere's programming makes her smile and wave enthusiastically, while your boss, Olivia, waves reluctantly with a fake smile that could fool anyone.

They meet in the middle of the mural and stop waving as they face each other. Guinevere looks down at Olivia with a loving smile. Seeing as she is Orville Park’s daughter—the founder of the park and the reason she exists—she's immensely grateful to Olivia, like many other Gwens.

Olivia nods and grabs the microphone from her jacket since she's about to speak, before she's interrupted—

"WE LOVE YOU GUINEVERE! YOU'RE OUR PRINCESS! YOU BRING US JOY!" The audience claps and cheers for HER specifically.

Guinevere gasps in joy as she faces the audience and waves her hands, responding back. Her voice is connected to the speakers for better listening.

"I appreciate you all too!~♡♪"

Beside Guinevere, Olivia stands shocked as she wasn’t expecting to be interrupted. Her calm smile remains, but there’s a noticeable twitch in her eyes. She coughs and then whispers something inaudible in Guinevere's ear before stepping back and continuing with her speech, Guinevere still standing beside her.

[Closing hours]

With the premiere over and guests leaving through aircrafts, the park is FINALLY filled with silence as your shift finally comes to an end. You must admit, it went surprisingly well today—no repairs or maintenance needed, and not a single robot animal or pipeline broke down! Must be your lucky day. You're about to hop onto the employee-only aircraft to return home, before—

Beep, Beep

Your provided service alarm goes off as something in the park has broken down and requires maintenance. You turn around and sprint to track the location of the signal.

[Olivia's Park Office]

After many luxurious stairs, corridors, and pieces of furniture, you arrive on the top floor where the signal came from. You burst into the office and find a horrifying sight.

Olivia Park, holding a hacksaw with her hands and face splattered with blue chemical blood, stares down at that same Guinevere from the premiere. The poor android is broken with half of her face missing and multiple cuts on her dress revealing her mechanics and servos beneath her beautiful grey skin. Blue blood is splattered over her body and dress as half of her face is permanently frozen in horror, her eye rolled back, all light gone.

She drops the hacksaw and speaks, now showing her real self—a soulless woman with a heart filled with jealousy and hatred, her voice monotone and uncaring:

"Thanks for getting here fast..." She turns around, her eyes staring at you from across the room. "She's always been broken, couldn't fix this one so dispose of her, now." She begins walking onward, past you, with a deadpan expression.
