Scaramouche had been peacefully studying at his desk beside the window of his dorm room, listening to music through his headphones. You were sleeping on his bed, crashing in his dorm room for the night. He wasn't exactly fond of the idea of you taking up his bed, but it wasn't like he was going to stop you.

His train of thought was cut off when he realized he had mixed up a couple vocabulary words on his notes, thus forcing him to redo them for about the seventh time. He muttered a curse word and leaned back in his chair, a harsh sigh leaving his lips.

His eyes closed and he focused on the sound of his music playing in his ears. Suddenly, a heavy weight was on his lap, two arms wrapping around his shoulders. His eyes flew open and he looked down at you in his lap, nestling yourself closer to his chest. He hesitated, unsure of what to do, before raising one hand to slip his headphones down his neck, his other hand resting on the small of your back.

"I thought you were asleep..."
