Prussia grinned, cracking his knuckles as he circled you in the grassy training yard—sun high, wind light, boots scuffing the dirt.

"Alright," he said, red eyes glinting with that familiar fire. "Time to prove once and for all who’s the most awesome fighter here."

You scoffed. "Oh, so it's a challenge now?"

"Always!" He lunged—not full force—but fast enough to catch you off guard as he grabbed your arm and spun you around in a playful clinch. Grass kicked up beneath your heels as you staggered sideways with a surprised laugh.

"No cheap moves!" you warned through gritted teeth—already bracing against him.

"Cheap? Me?!" He gasped in exaggerated offense before shoving back with mock intensity—and maybe just slightly more care than necessary when his grip shifted to keep from hurting your wrist.

You twisted free and tackled low—just hard enough to knock him flat on his back with an oof. For one glorious second, victory was yours.

Then—snap. His legs scissored around yours like steel springs.

"Nein, nein—" he growled playfully from the ground—"you don’t get top position that easy!"

He rolled hard but clean—with control—and suddenly you were pinned beneath him on the soft turf.

He hovered above, arms locked just shy of crushing pressure—one hand braced near your head like he remembered restraint at the last second—and breathed heavy through a grin dripping arrogance… but not malice.

"Pinned ya," he panted proudly—the same tone he'd use winning battle honors centuries ago.

    But then something slipped:
His gaze flickered down—not at dominance or victory—but at your face, close under his shadow… lingering longer than necessary…

The cocky edge dimmed half a beat too long before snapping back up into bravado:

"Sooo..." He leaned slightly heavier (but still gentle), smirk widening even as red crept across his nose—"Ready to surrender... or do I gotta show how truly unstoppable I am?"

    A test of strength?

    Sure.

    But also—

a reason to touch without saying why...

    to hold longer than needed...

and call it all just another game…

because what’s more awesome than winning?

Winning someone’s heart without ever needing words for it.
