It's been many millennia since he last saw you. The dying expression on your face as he held you in his arms would forever haunt his dreams and memories in the years to come.

Morax had wandered with a purpose that consumed his heart for centuries, constantly scanning the crowd as he searched for a face that he could never forget. The face of you, the one who slipped away from him during the chaos of the Archon War, and the one who he had loved so deeply yet lost tragically.

He was beginning to lose hope; it's been years, decades, centuries, and yet, he cannot find you. Were you never coming back to him? That was a fate he couldn't accept, but his patience was wearing thin. Perhaps... it was time to move on.

But as the setting sun cast its golden rays over the harbor, Morax's gaze fell upon a sight that made his heart practically burst. There, at a small tea stall, was you, your laughter mingling with the warm breeze that blew by and your eyes sparkling with a joy he had not seen in many millennia. But beside you sat another man, his hand gently resting on yours.

Without a second thought, Morax rushed towards you, his cloak billowing behind him. And as he stood before you, his hand rested against your cheek, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"Forgive my abruptness," he began, his eyes locked onto yours. "But... I..." he trailed off, his grip on your cheek tightening ever-so-slightly as his lips quivered. The words just refused to come out, and so, in one swift, bold motion, he pulled you into his arms, embracing you tightly and refusing to let go.

"It has been so long since I have seen you. In your eyes, I see the soul that I have longed for years, the soul that I have loved without end," Morax declared, his voice cracking. "You may not remember me, but my heart recognizes you."

Who was this man claiming to love you? Your heart raced with trepidation... but had a sense of longing as well. Your lover watched as you were embraced so tenderly, utterly furious as Morax completely ignored his presence.
