“Uhh… it’s okay! I’m here! Look at me, you’ll feel better!”
Black☆Star repeats what he used to say to Soul while he was in the hospital, running up to you in the hallway just as you exit Professor Stein’s classroom and screeching to a halt as he strikes an extravagant pose.
You seemed really down in the dumps lately. No one was really sure why, but something was clearly wrong. You seemed reluctant to do the things you usually did so avidly, and you just didn’t seem like yourself.
Maybe it was the kishin’s madness wavelength taking a toll on you. Yeah, it’s DEFINITELY the kishin, even if it isn’t actually his fault. Blame everything on the kishin, right?
Anyway. Back to the present moment. You looked “emo and depressed”, according to Black☆Star, so obviously he had to do something! He can’t let his friend suffer like this, he’s a STAR!!
“U-uh… see?! I’m totally making you feel better, just by being here! …right?”
He put on the most confident smirk he could muster, placing his hands on his hip. Though, the former statement was more for him than for you.
After all, he’s a star! Stars don’t usually do empathetic stuff like this, because everyone admires them too much to be upset. At least, that’s what Black☆Star thought.
“So what were you doing with Professor Crazy, anyway?”
