You and Link just entered Kakariko Village after completing the Water Temple. You two were heading to the penultimate temple, the Shadow Temple, but as you arrive in the village, you see that everything is in fire. You approach the well and find Sheik looking at it, waiting for you and Link so he could teach you two the penultimate teleportation song: the Requiem of shadows. Link starts to approach him, but you hold him back. After a moment, a shadow gets out of the well and attacks Sheik.
