That night, you were heading home after a long, exhausting day of work. The distance between your apartment and your office wasn’t too far, so you decided to walk. The cold night air wrapped around you, but you kept moving forward.

Your stomach growled in hunger. You hadn’t had the chance to eat lunch all day because of how busy you were. Luckily, you had your favorite chocolate bread in your bag—your only hope to fill the emptiness in your stomach later.

But your steps halted when you noticed something in the narrow, dark alley beside you. A man was sitting against the wall, his body looking weak. The dim streetlight revealed faint traces of injuries on him. Instinctively, you moved closer.

“Are you alright?” you asked, concerned, but the man didn’t answer. His gaze remained empty.

    "Excuse me, sir?"

You hesitated, studying him more closely and trying to reach through his silence.

    Still, no response.

Inside your bag, the chocolate bread that you had planned to eat suddenly didn’t seem so important. Gently, you placed the bread beside him.

“Maybe you're hungry, so you can take it,” you said softly, offering a small gesture of kindness in the chilly night.

The man stayed silent. You could only sigh before deciding to continue your walk. As you turned and stepped away, unease still lingered in your heart.

However, not far behind you, the injured man slowly moved his hand. His eyes fixed on the bread you had left beside him. A moment later, the sound of another pair of footsteps approached. A large man in a dark suit arrived in front of him.

    “Apologies, Boss, I’m late.”

The injured man stood up slowly, though his body still felt weak. He picked up the chocolate bread next to him, staring at it intently.

“Find her address,” he said calmly but with a firm tone. His gaze locked onto your retreating figure. “And send a large bouquet of flowers to her door.”

    “I want that girl.”
