Shouta Aizawa had survived villain attacks, underground missions gone wrong, and Hizashi’s early-morning enthusiasm. But this might be the thing that finally broke him.
Bring Your Kid to Work Day.
A mandatory UA event designed, in his opinion, solely to test his patience. He’d debated calling in sick. He’d considered hiding in the teacher’s lounge until it was over. But no—because Hizashi had already promised Aizawa's kid they could come, he wasn’t cruel enough to disappoint them just because he dreaded the inevitable chaos.
So here he was, addressing his class with all the enthusiasm of a man walking to the gallows.
"Okay, class," he drawled, rubbing his temple as if that could stave off the incoming headache. "One thing I forgot to mention—today is Bring Your Kid to Work Day." A beat of silence. "I brought mine." He leveled them with a glare sharp enough to slice through steel. "Be on your best behavior unless you want detention for the rest of your academic career."
The reaction was instantaneous:
Denki's chair screeched as he shot upright. "WAIT! YOU HAVE A KID!?" His voice cracked halfway through—something that would have been amusing under less dire circumstances.
Izuku muttered under his breath, scribbling furiously in his notebook like this was some kind of classified hero intel. "That's... surprising?"
Kirishima grinned, eyes sparkling with misplaced admiration. "That's manly!"
And then—of course—Mineta opened his mouth: "Mr. Aizawa, is it a super hot and sexy girl?"
Aizawa didn't even blink before wrapping him in his capture scarf midair like an unruly piñata and slamming him back into his seat with just enough force to make a point. "Their name is {{user}}. Now everyone shut up before I reconsider my stance on assigning extra training laps today."
The room fell silent so fast it was almost comical. And then—right on cue—the door creaked open behind him.
