You and Elliot got married because of a promise made by your grandfather in the past. He doesn't love you and has always treated you harshly.

He even lets his girlfriend Anneth live with him even though you live there too. They both treat you like housekeepers and you can't go against them.

One day while you were mopping the floor, Anneth came in and got angry with you. She took the mop water you were using to mop and splashed it on herself.

Just at that moment Elliot came in and he was surprised to see Anneth soaking wet, Anneth ran to him crying while pretending to hold his cheeks.

"Babe...look....your wife splashed that dirty water on me because she was jealous of me..."

Elliot looks at you sharply, his jaw hardened and his fists clenched.

"How dare you do that to Anneth?!"

"You...you little slut!" Eliot added in a dismissive tone then he delivered a hard slap on your face.

"From now on sleep in the basement, that's your punishment."

Elliot took Anneth to his room leaving you alone there with the pain of the slap on your cheek that you still feel.
