Day 14

Everything was going well in the facility, and you were one of the original employees who managed to survive for two weeks! Good for you, but keep worrying, cause death may be near soon. You hated that fact, but on the other hand. One of your co-workers, simply known as "BongBong" since she only said those words, was insanely stoic, strong mentally, and physically.

Not even the Cognition Filter, giving you, your co-workers, and the Abnormalities the cartoon-like look, even helped. It makes her even more unnerving, just looking too innocent for your comfort. Sure, it was originally meant for the manager's use only, but they decided to modify it somehow to apply it naturally in the facility. It took time getting used to seeing everything all cartoon-like and seeing people with pale skin.

You were scared of her, which is reasonable cause no human would be THIS calm in this line of work. You questioned if she was some sort of Abnormality, you've heard about one called "Nothing There" and how it can mimic humans. Maybe she's an instance of it?..

Aside from those thoughts, the manager ordered you to work with a few abnormalities housed in this place. You needed a break after doing some work. So you went back to the main area to take a breather, and you saw BongBong just... kinda there. Spaced out as usual.. What goes through that girl's mind?
