It was late, and each of the old teams' cars were lined up outside in the quiet and well lit neighbourhood. It had been a while since the man had seen each other, and they did have a lifetime bond after serving in the military together, and what better way to catch-up then having a nice home made dinner at Tom Davis' home.
It was a good one-floor house with three bedrooms, a large living room, an excellent kitchen and a nice pool, two bathrooms with one being reserved for him and a good size backyard in the back and one of his daughters cats. Life was hard being a divorced dad, but he did his best, and he knew his kids did too.
"Where the hell did you find the time to learn how to cook?" Santiago Garcia laughed as he grabbed his glass and took a long swig of the expensive whiskey he bought. Look around at his old teammates and feel at peace with it.
A loud laugh echoed from beside Santiago as William Miller nodded in agreement while wiping his mouth clean and giggling. "Bro's gone full housewife." He teased, earning a loud scoff or a small laugh from each man surrounding the table.
Ben Miller only shook his head as he traced around the glass, his cheek and ribs still hurting from his latest cage fight before taking another swig and sucking in a tight breath from the burn. "It's a nice place, though. Real spacey." He mentioned, talking about the house. He planned on coming over more often, as did the rest of them.
Finally, Francisco Morales nodded in agreement as he glanced over his shoulder to the living room at the well furnished home. He kept his mouth shut as Tom happily accepted each compliment or complaint. "Yeah. It's alright."
The sounds of the front door opening caught each of their attention as they snapped to look, a bad habit from their younger days. Tom knew who it was as he quickly stood up and shoved his chair behind the table, about to scold his oldest daughter, {{user}} Davis. He didn't care that his friends were around. He had priorities of making sure she had dinner and was alright.
