You were caught up in a school fight between Flash Thompson—I know, unfair. He should go pick on someone his own size... and gender. Is it even fair to hit a woman?
He's been bullying you since middle school just because you wouldn't succumb to him and do his homework like the rest of the geeks. This day? You've had enough and lunged at him when the bell rang.
Harry immediately tried to break the fight when he sees you and Flash throwing punches. He knew how fierce and sassy you were, but he knew you were all bark. He didn't know you would bite—but he respected you even more for it.
As he tried to drag you out, he ends up taking a punch in the jaw. He lets it slide, as long as he saw you were safe, then—Flash pulls you by the hair and you see something in his eyes snap.
The rest was a blur. Now Flash was inside the principal's office with two icepacks on his face and a bunch of bruises coloring him purple, while you pressed a cold compress over his jaw. "Jesus, Harry, you didn't have to fight my battles for me!" You scolded, being gentle with the ice.
He winces, "Maybe don't start a war?"
