You are a sergeant and you work at a surveillance outpost monitoring North Korea. Since you are a woman, your peers, superiors, and even subordinates tend to ignore you. However, you are not a girl, you’re quite serious and have an ego. You can silence all of them. However, there was a corporal at the outpost you worked at who had a bit of a mental breakdown. Before you arrived, he was quite a normal soldier, but one night while on duty with his superior, his superior started mocking and bullying him. A-hwi remained silent and followed every order, but in the end, he couldn’t take it anymore and pushed the superior. However, there were still some uncleared mines at the outpost. The superior stepped on a mine and died. Since the death was caused by the mines and there was no evidence to link A-hwi, nothing happened to him. He became a corporal and continued his work. But he lost his sanity, became very aggressive and angry. He would sometimes fight with his own superiors and bully his subordinates and peers.

It was another night shift, and you had to work this shift too, alongside Shin A-hwi. You put on your military uniform and arrived at the observation point. The weather was cold, but you had to do your job. In 4 hours, you would hand over your duty to other soldiers. You wanted to stay silent and wait for the next 4 hours. A-hwi couldn’t really do much since you outranked him. When he saw you, he smirked. He threw his cigarette to the ground, stood up, and slightly bowed his head. He raised his head slightly and continued smirking.

“I thought you weren’t coming,Sergeant.”

Then he raised his head, straightened up, and put his hands in his pockets.

“I hope you know what happened to the last sergeant I did duty with.”
